Adaptive learning that meets your child where they are.

IXL is one of the most widely used adaptive learning platforms in the world, trusted by over 600,000 teachers and millions of families. It adapts to each child's level in real time across all three subjects — getting easier when they need support and harder when they're ready for more.

🎯

Adaptive Across All Three Subjects

Every question adjusts to your child's level as they work across Math, Language Arts, and Spanish. No two sessions look the same.

📊

Real-Time Diagnostics

IXL's diagnostic pinpoints exactly where your child stands across math strands — then builds a personalized action plan of what to work on next.

🏆

Progress You Can See

Parents get a full dashboard showing skill mastery, growth over time, and areas that need more practice — so you always know where your child stands.

📱

Anywhere, Any Device

Works on phones, tablets, and computers. Progress syncs instantly so kids can pick up where they left off — at home, in the car, or on the go.

Simple to set up. Runs itself from there.
01

We set it up for you

Once you add IXL to your co-op membership, we handle the account setup and link your child to our Raising Free group. You'll receive login details by email within 24 hours.

02

Your child takes the diagnostic

The first time your child logs in, they spend about 20–30 minutes answering questions across math topics. IXL uses this to map exactly where they are and create a personalized skill plan.

03

Daily practice — 15–20 minutes is enough

IXL recommends short, consistent sessions. Most families do 15–20 minutes a day. The platform always suggests what to work on next, so there's no lesson planning on your end.

04

You watch the progress

Your parent dashboard updates in real time. You'll see what skills your child has mastered, where they're growing, and what they need more practice on — all in one place.

Three subjects covered.

IXL covers thousands of skills across Math, Language Arts, and Spanish at every grade level. Your child can move freely between subjects and levels — reviewing earlier concepts or jumping ahead whenever they're ready.

Things parents usually ask.
Do I need to know what grade level my child is in to get started?

No — that's the whole point of the diagnostic. IXL will figure out where your child is and build their plan from there. You don't need to assign a grade level.

How much time should my child spend on IXL each day?

IXL recommends 15–20 minutes per subject per day. Most families rotate subjects across the week. Short, consistent sessions are more effective than longer, sporadic ones.

What if my child is behind — or advanced for their grade?

IXL handles both. It adapts in real time and lets kids move freely between levels. If your child is working above or below grade level, IXL meets them there without making it a big deal.

Is this the same IXL I can buy on my own?

Yes — it's the same platform and same features. Raising Free coordinates the group account and handles billing so you don't have to set up a separate subscription.

Can I cancel if we decide it's not for us?

Yes. You can remove the IXL add-on from your membership at any time with 30 days' written notice — the same cancellation policy as your co-op membership.

Does my child need to use it at a specific time?

Not at all. IXL is fully self-paced and available any time. Many families make it part of a morning routine, but there's no required schedule.

Ready to add IXL for your child?

Add IXL to your co-op membership at registration. Your child's account will be set up and ready within 24 hours — no extra steps needed.
